I've tried the snus route before. Didn't satisfy me much.Quit eight weeks ago. Cold turkey is the only way i could do it. I tried those snus things, and i just ended up more addicted to them than i was to cigs. After a couple weeks, I was golden. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I have a cheap-o one. I have never really tried to quit with it. Just got it for shits and giggles. Perhaps I'll try.Switching to a ecig might be a good idea first. My neighbor has a nice one and tbh I enjoy hitting that more than cigarettes.
D@mn. Yeah I don't work til 7:30 p and when my daughter is napping during the day boredom sends me outside to smoke lol.my uncle used to smoke a lot, however now he doesnt smoke, but not because he intentionally quit. He is just simply so busy, he just doesnt have time to like think about wanting a smoke. He would work a regular 40 hour work week then, he would work at home once he got home from work from like 5 to midnight 5 or 6 days a week. So maybe find something to simply occupy your time!( what I would try!) good luck quitting man!
Thanks for the links. Is their a big difference between the cheap ones and the more expensive "nicer" ones?I quit in March. I now use an ecig. Those cheapo ones at the gas station are pure garbage.E-cigarette-forum.com check it out.
I use an ego battery and boge cartomizers, and get my "juice" from ecblendflavors.com
Sure it's still a habit but you aren't inhaling 4000+ chemicals and don't smell like an ashtray, you can breath and smell again, and startup cost is a bit but in the long run is cheaper.
Really depends on how "into" it you get, I'm fine with my ego batts, just make sure they are genuine Joyetech. Also you gotta get used to the size, as they are the thickness similar to cigars. They have the cigarette sized ones like at the gas station, but the battery only lasts a couple hours. Then there are variable voltage models which can get to $150+, and then "box mods" etc etc. Check out the forum I linked, lots of info about them and opinions. It's actually a lot to learn, like when we were all car audio noobs lolThanks for the links. Is their a big difference between the cheap ones and the more expensive "nicer" ones?
You probably got that crappy American stuff. Buy the real stuff from Sweden and you're golden. Haven't looked back on cigs in a few years after discovering that.I've tried the snus route before. Didn't satisfy me much.
That is the key right there. Just when you get bored find something else to fill the time. Do pushups, situps, a game on your phone. Something simple, but it works.D@mn. Yeah I don't work til 7:30 p and when my daughter is napping during the day boredom sends me outside to smoke lol.
