I'm not going to get into the middle of this debate, but, I will try to share something with you all. Hate has always and will always exist. It's human nature. Whether it be over race, style, music, wealth, location, friends, appearance, etc... it will always be there. The worst thing you can do is let it get to you(I did up until a few years ago). I grew up in a place where we were brought up hating almost everything and everybody. It was pretty simple, if someone says something to you, you either talked shit or smash their face in. Someone comes in your bar and don't belong there, you talk shit or smash their face in, on your block when they shouldn't be, talk shit or smash their face in. And the rest of our day pretty much consisted of talking shit about people.
Then one day I was at my local bar and was talking to my cousin about a movie that had just come out(As good as it gets) and looked around the bar, and all I saw was a bunch of people *****ing about everything. Then(still with the movie on my mind) I asked myself, is this as good as it gets(talking about life. Kinda gay I know, but it is what it is.). Ever since then, I haven't really let shit get to me.
-If someone want's to have a black organization, so what. Let them have it. If you're white and don't like who they have representing them, guess what, don't worry about it you're not black. Let them worry about who they choose to represent them.
-If someone says I'm this, or I'm that because of the way I choose to veiw things, I don't care. So what let them have their opinion.
-And if you feel that it is your responsibility to worry about the welfare of other peoples ways, get involved and do something about it other than complain.
This doesn't seem to read right, but oh well, I hope some of you can see what I'm trying to say here.
