the NAACP is about the worst thing this country has. giving an upperhand to a race, not based upon financial being, only on the color of their skin..........is racist. period. no matter how you look at it.
in todays world, with all the "help" given to african americans, THEY have the upper hand in things if they are suited to even begin at a solid level of employment. If you are an african american, and qualified just a slight bit, less than a white male or other "non commercial" races, with more qualifications, you will get the job. Fact of the matter is, is that commercial america has to be based around hiring certain people to stay out of legal trouble. If all these laws weren't made, maybe, JUST MAYBE, people would actually WORK for their position and show that they actually deserve it.

NAACP doesnt deserve to be open, its run by black panthers IMO. Call me racist, but by you doing that, you just said the same about me as I did them. We are now on the same level. Equality.....you wanted that, right?

Really, what opportunities exist for the white man today? NONE. My wife and have decided to be honest with our children. We have told them that no matter how hard they work they will never be able to find a decent job --- because they are white. Once a potential employer sees the color of their skin --- that interview is over. As a result, we have encouraged them to sell drugs. Freaking affirmative action!!!!! It is everywhere I tell you.

If you use an adjective to describe someone, then you are ignorant. That is all I can say. I work with the public, in older generations racism is alive and well in our older generations.

They show those tours because of history thats all we were told all through school is how bad racism is because it was a big thing, most of those plantation houses that were used back then are still standing and are being sold for the millions now, and they saved the slave cabins, and devloped areound them right in the heart of the city, its to educate people on what the slaves went through, and the state isnt that bad, people just come here with the whole, they are a bunch of hick racist, and its not, downtown was in the top 10 most historical educational places to visit in the country.

well..i'm from south carolina, down near charleston...and its not as bad as most people think..like in the city area...it's not bad, but the further and further away from tha city you go...tha more confederate flags you see flying...not just cause they have a sticker..doesn't mean they hate black people...i work with a redneck..and he cool as shit...he has a small sticker onhis bumber...i didn't judge him on that sticker..i got to konw him...so just try not to stereo type south carolina as a hick state, cuz it's really not how it's portrayed.

first, your user name makes all input from you, worthless. Second, NO, generation to generation thoughts are NOT passed down. Maybe for weak people as yourself, but for strong, independent person who thinks for themselves, the fact that their parents may have some racial tendencies are obsolete. Same goes with drug abusing parents and their kids, alcoholics and their kids....your point is weak and invalid.

the confederate flag isnt a symbol of racism in my opinion, but more of a sign of being proud to be from the south. That is what it was intended for when made, and people have misconstrued the meaning from it's original. Anything to make them look impoverished.
