The halo movie that was mentioned. I am absolutely disgusted that they're making that...ridiculous. Halo is an "alright" game, but in no way deserves a movie...the only thing that makes the game good is its multiplayer, the story sucks, and you can only make a movie on the story.

Well, I'll admit Peter Jacksons movies have been either based off books or based off movies with a good storyline allready. However, in the grand scale, Halo does have a good story line.

Bad guys attack, a blind hyperspace jump leads a team and a cyborg to a planet ring, they go to the surfice, fight, find out the ring kills everything, they fight more, destroy the ring, and leave in the nick of time as the ring blows up. Aliens anyone?

If they can make Independence Day into a blockbuster, this should be a piece of cake.

A film with Peter Jackson as a director is better than a film with Will Smith as an actor. Besides, he'd sell out and advertise some trendy shoes and electronics like he did in I-Robot. =\
