Both are dumb. Small spider and limit amount of excursion. I'd take a team sundown 18" with 5" excursion over anything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

triple basket is the lvs 18
dual baskets were the 12's and 15's

phenomenal drivers with superior excursion linearity due to multiple spaced spiders,... always wanted one.
That motor doesn't allow a lot of excursion on the lvs lmao. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

it looks tc based, ive always thought, but the wind height on these things are three to three and a quarter inches, if memory serves me.

excursion linearity differs from actual excursion, its how well the former/coil stays aligned within the gap tolerance on axis at full physical in/outward extension (within mechanical limits). single spider locations lend to being a pivot point to the coil opposite the surround/cone hinge point, susceptible to rock/rub and uneven saturation. triple, or even double spiders spaced that far apart negates the pivot point.
