who would use these

i wana build a box i have never tried. nor can i rent a truck to get home some mdf. so i would need some smaller sheets so i can do my build. i dont wana get a 150 sub just to test out my box skilz. i dont have the right tools i would not wana spend like 300 just to build a box at this time thats to much. i was thinking like some basic tools to get the job done and a cheapo sub to see what happens.
My suggestion. Go to Menards, you could probably get everything necessary (tools) to build a box for

For $40 shipped a pair it can't hurt to pick up a pair and try them out... I would probably keep them for midbass duty in any install I did though... (the lack of T/S parameters is a bit of a problem in deciding how they might preform)

My advice would be to look for a pair of budget 12s instead of 4 of these for subbass duty.. you will be much happier..

fs is a little high hmm how about one of them at 28hz sub up port back. i might just place a order now lol
Same fs as a 15" BL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

They're good sounding subs, not meant to be loud but to provide deep bass in small packages. Can't beat them for the price they're at right now, I'm actually tempted just to buy some for the hell of it. You definitely will not need much power for one...I'd get two, do a 1ft^3 box tuned to 30hz and see what happens. All you need is a circular saw and a straight-edge to clamp down as a guide for your cut. I assume you have some sort of drill to use.

Just buy one of these and call it a day-
