who would use these

At 20$ a piece I would love to try them...
yea but would it b a waste of wood. lets say u get 2 build a box then u would b out the 40.00 the money for wood etc and your time. if u get 4 sh it if u get 6-8 then u would really real the heat of money lost and time lost. i know the best idea is one of the new sa-8 line.but tbh i wana just test them out. so yea

my subs have a small surround and they have a high xmax. u think i should ask them if they know the xmax of the sub?? they should b able to play low
These look like normal 8" midwoofers with a slightly larger motor. The surround is tiny, I wouldn't expect more than an inch or so of possible excursion before the surround gives or the VC former starts slapping the back plate. I know what subs you have, and the surround is far more capable of high excursion than these...

I don't see how you'd assume that they can play low just by looking at them. If anything they look like a normal 8" midbass, which would not be optimal at playing under 50hz or so, like these.

yea i guess there just some low level 8s at best then. by what u said kinda talked me out of the idea. what that your idea or would u still try 2?

They do basically appear to be mid range woofers. They claim to play past 2kh

What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this setup? If you're going to use it at home for movies and such I'd suggest different 8" woofers that can extend lower and still not cost a ton.
i wana build a box i have never tried. nor can i rent a truck to get home some mdf. so i would need some smaller sheets so i can do my build. i dont wana get a 150 sub just to test out my box skilz. i dont have the right tools i would not wana spend like 300 just to build a box at this time thats to much. i was thinking like some basic tools to get the job done and a cheapo sub to see what happens.
