ive never heard an XXX but i've never been impressed with the W3s and at that low power id say the XXX will win.

Me and my friend r gonna have a little sound off, it is his 3 jlw3's in a sealed box with his kicker 400 wattrms amp or my xxx12'' in a ported box with my hifonics bx1500 running at 1 ohm. i know he has more surface area but i have like more than 3 times his power. but who will be louder and sound better. i know u guys dont give a rip about this crap but i was just curious on who u would bet on.

How long has your friend had his jl setup? I think he's going to end up with damaged speakers.

dont forget, it is sealed. so they prolly arent getting anywhere NEAR xmax.
