Who thinks Obama's birth certificate is real?

Looks like youve got Obama to vote for then.
PS I learned today that Obama doesnt need a birth certificate to be president. If your mother is an american citizen then you are considered a natural born american
It's not time for election yet, I think there will be more to throw in their hats.

Americans didn't start a war in iraq....americans didn't start a war in afghan....americans didn't decide to give the rich billions in tax cuts....
The American population, and both major political parties in our govt, fully supported invading Iraq. Liberals tend to like to forget that they were every bit as blood thirsty for revenge after 9-11 as were the republicans. As for giving the rich billions in tax cuts, Obama did not veto the tax extension, and he certainly has given out billions to rich people via his corporate bailouts. Nor do I see his administration in any hurry to take on Wall Street by implementing any real over sight legislation.

Lets be fair here, both sides of the aisle have more than enough blame to share. As does the american public for allowing our politicians to do the things they do.

Honestly I hate all politicians. Democrats, republicans, teapartiers. They all have some agenda and almost all of them only got where they're at by favors from others whom they're supposed to return favors to.

Politicians(Yes republicans and democrats) want to cut spending but almost all of them won't address our biggest expense: National Defense. We have bases in countries all over the world as well as the wars we fight, any clue how much that costs? I suggest eliminating 50-75% of the bases we have, bringing them all home and cutting a major expense in our budget. Before you say that'll make us unsafe, we're already vulnerable to attack and always have been. If a country attacks us, we'll round troops up and re-mobilize just like we did in world war 2. Fact of the matter us, spending this much in national defense actually makes us LESS safe because of the massive deficit we accumulate by doing so. I'm all for healthcare if we can figure a way out to actually afford it.

Ways to cut deficit:

Stop giving money to random countries that don't give a **** about us (pakistan?)

Stop spending money on blowing **** up.

Either eliminate or re-structure the post office.

Ways to make us more safe:

Once we have money to do so, invest more in education. (Yes a smart country is a stronger country.)

Stop blowing **** up.

Personally I've already accepted our countries sinking, no country stays on top forever and we had a good run.

In 20-40 years china will be #1 and we'll be #2. Does it mean our countries over? No. Does it mean China will have more money and influence then us? Yes.

looks like we all kno who these nut huggers here are voting for

The people our political machine puts out for us to vote on is pretty pathetic, isn't it. Out of 300 million people in this country, you'd think we could find a few intelligent, honest, well spoken, non-controversial individuals to run for president. But the political parties dont want too strong of any one individual even from amongst their own, because it shifts power away from the party leaders and congress. A weak president allows much more 'behind the scenes' control of the political decisions, again by the party leaders and congress. They screw the system, and the american public, to promote their own careers.

Somewhere along the way we seem to have lost sight of the fact that career politicians means decision makers who have a personal bias in virtually every decision they make. Who wants to make a decision that will ruin their career, even if they feel its the right decision to make? Surprisingly few people in Washington, that's who.

20-40 years? Try today. In many respects, China has already surpassed us (economically, in manufacturing, etc).

I agree nothing can stay on top forever, but that's a pretty poor excuse to allow our politicians to drive our economy into the ground, imo.

China makes products cheaper than we can and sells them over here and we would need a tariff to compete with them but that wont happen because it would cause inflation and china wouldnt let it anyhow.

americas biggest problem is that we buy foreign products and dont make any products to sell.

In manufacturing yes, but in GDP not yet. A few other factors such as standard of living, GSP per capita, etc. Just a matter of time for those though.

I didn't say it as an excuse, more of as a fact. Personally I think the only worthwhile president we've had in a long time has been Clinton. Who gives a **** that he got some on the side.
