Oh and as far as search goes, someone else is looking at to why it only pulls up about 20% of posts in results. The fix that pulled up everything beautifully wasn't tested on a server setup like ours, so it caused pages not to load when it indexed new threads. Another QA disaster. One fix breaks something else. All big sites have issues, but this vbulletin crap is beyond belief.

Plan on doing anything about the crappy mods you got here?

Why did we upgrade to v4 if it sucks so bad? Every admin I have seen seems to mimic your same woes we are dealing with here.

I guess not enough research was done. I waited a few months from its official stable release not beta, to make sure bugs were out. But they more they fix it seems like the more other things break or not compatible, etc. For example, the forum lastest threads feature is causing the members viewing threads number to be way off, as best I can tell. Not to mention with a forum this large its hard to get everything going smooth because it takes so long to do anything as far as processing data goes.

There won't be a actual mod vote as it seems its just a popularit contest. I'll choose a few soon. I'm open to PM'ing suggestions, but can't guarantee that they will be the one.

Forum Owners. They should never implement this software with 900+ bugs and growing.

Well you don't know about these issues until new updated software is released, AFTER you have already installed the previous version. Say we put in 4.01 that fixed 300 bugs from 4.0.0. Wow, 300 bug fixes, should be good to go, this is a gold release, not beta anymore! How am I supposed to know that what I'm putting in still has hundreds of bugs?

Then we upgrade and all goes to hell with errors. So, in saying, not my fault, not taking blame. I've done what I can to correct errors and keep this place afloat, to the point I have no life lately.
