Who sell/rebuild alternators for Scion xb's?

scion xb has a stock 90 amp alternator... and with my car running right now im only getting 13.2volts... and thats without my system hooked up.. im wanting to get a highout put alternator but not looking to spend a ton of $$.. let me know what i should do cause without my system in my car on its only 13.2volts and it should be around 14!

not really. with your car on, it should be at the voltage that toyota wants it to sit at.

if they want it to sit around there then, you wont be getting anything better from an HO alt.

you should probably make sure all your connections are good and if not, upgrade, change them.

i will.. i got a 90amp alt!! need more then a 90 amp alternator.. i think it might be ****ed up now.. with nothing hooked up and car on im only at 13.2 volts..lol

well tomarrow im going to call scion and see what a stock xb sits at.. and im going to do big 3 and install amp and subs and then check the volts to the amp! cause scion xb dont come with a volt meter.. i hooked up up and to the alternator so i would no!

i have a toyota echo and i also have a hi output alternator a 160 amp is about the biggest you can get for your vehicle other places might get you a lil more amperage so they say.... Anyways i agree with charles barkley i never get to 14 i think i idle at 13.6 - 13.9 i never get 14 then again i am using a cheapo voltmeter but the point is a h/o alt. will cost you money mine cost $550. but well worth it it went from charging up every 30 min from 13.5 - 13.6 driving highway & now with the h/o alt it charges up in less then 5 min doing the same task. also upgrade the big 3.
