I work under my dad, who is a sub-contractor for a framing company...I work outside all day long, all year long. Make decent money though, and I'm not even running my own guys yet...my dad makes in excess of $150k+ a year with just me and a couple of Mexicans working with him.

Not in the summer/winter time...last summer we had around 40 100+ days, it just beats you down to be out in that all day long. We really only have about 4-5 months where it's nice to work. Other than that it's just too cold or too hot to be outside all day.

I know the feeling, I used to be a roofer.

Roofing sucks ***...did you have to do the asphalt stuff, or just normal paper/shingles routine? I roofed my parent's house and a separate 2k ft^2 garage/gameroom thing in the middle of summer...NO FUN.

Oh man, we did it all. The rubber and tar types with pebbles, all of it. I was definitely tired when I got home.
