You wouldn't have the problem you're having right now if you made them external.

Besides, externals may be louder, but they are much easier to swap.

Search "BTL > My truck" or something to that tune. I think he said how loud. It was high 140's IIRC. Impressice to say the least with a loaded BTL (stock BTL's are the better one note wonders). Ok...to clear up some misconceptions in this thread...Jntar did a good job though. The problem with that box, is that the aeros do esentially make about 1/3 of the box "un-useable" Throwing the tuning into the 50s. STILL with that box the Mag did a 146.1...BTLs score was lower, but because the MAG is idiot poof, and will sound awsome and get loud in just about anybox. New box will have external aeros...the wood for the new box is in my truck currently, and I will post a build log tomorrow.

As for Hair trick...meh, I would be surprised if it did a hair trick. Even though I peak in the low 40s, high 30s, still has to move alot of air.

My goals for the new box, no testing what so ever are...Burp High 40s (48-49 region) and BassRace a 46-47. after some tuning, rasing my peak to about 43, and some serious testing over the xmas break...hoping to burp a 51 bassrace a 48-49.

PE...they are precision ports.

and YES (saywhat, earlier in this thread), the flares are on them in that pic...I was almost perfectly inline with the ports...thats why they look like there arent flares.

I will if you want me too...but I can tell you this, That box will not fit in a Standard cab S-10. Its a cram for my fulsize Silverado.

BTW...that box sucks ***. You dont want to copy it.
