who likes big, thick, black shafts with unimpeded flow through the middle...?

My statement on NOT Pm'ing you for crossover build advices wholeheartedly stands.
Jlaine, those X-overs look beauturorus.
unfortunately, you didn't even read the thread so this comment has no validity. all xovers built for people are done on PC boards, not on the bottom of the cabinet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. didn't feel like ordering, let alone had cash to order PC boards for myself so i went back to my roots.

I read the the thread. I also remember this quote.

learn before you bandwagon is all that I have to say. you have no knowledge of my true designs or abilities, so you should stop talking unless you actually know the person that you are talking to. yes thylantr is VERY, VERY knowledgeable about HA setups as i have talked to him extensively. so "getting it done" isn't really a valid excuse for shunning me.
have a good day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
and.

none taken, but as i build crossovers as a service and i actually care about detail vs. "getting it done", i would rethink that statement //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
As I can see by your worklog here that you really are concerned for detail and doing it right everytime.

Like I said in that thread, I would rather listen to people who show good work instead of just talk about how they do good work.

as a service means for a customer. unless i'm buying my own work, i don't see how that is relevant. sure i understand what you mean, however it doesn't apply here. if you'd like to see some standard pc board xovers, IM klEmnt 6648 , tehJJmazin and awdeopr1de332 and ask them to rip open their loudspeakers.

If you plan to do it as a service then your worklogs should reflect you best work regardless of whether it for you or not. It's easy for me to say I can build you the best PC, but if mine looks like a rats nest from hell and reboots evrry 10 seconds, then your not likely to buy my schpeel. Even if I told you I just don't put the same consideration into my PC as I do others. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Every pic and a worklog is a reflection of you no matter what excuse you choos to apply to it.

Maybe you should have made good pics of the ones you built for people and showcased them if they were so good. I shouldn't have to ask your customer to rip open their cabinets.

yeah i realize what you say and i understand where u are coming from //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i can already tell these towers are going to own. got them nearly ready for sanding down. carpenter's wood filler is excellent. tip: don't let friends use your router and let them learn how to use it on YOUR project:

will start the LABORIOUS sanding, caulking, sanding, priming, sanding, priming, sanding, painting, sanding, painting.........process this weekend

i could care less as to what you say right now, but i'm 90% sure you'll take your comments back once they are completed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i'm pretty sure that you'll reconsider, but i can't do anything about it until it happens. so talk all the shit u want, i welcome it actually. that way, you can contrast it with the finished product //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

is that bracing or what? the little things on one side on box in the corners.
Probably, because his RE10 box had the same thing - of course, it's in the worst possible spot for bracing, as if you want to brace the cabinet against resonance you need to do it across the girth of the cab, like the one brace that's in there already.
