Who is the dumbest person you have ever tried to buy/sell something from?

I bought a set of image dynamics horns off Craigslist for $40. Said that they were not loud enough so he replaced them with pa horns. I looked in his car and sure enough he had a set of tan Motorola pa horns mounted to the top of the dash of his 2004 Tahoe. I cleared $200 selling the Id horns on eBay.

Did you happen to catch his ethnicity by chance? Just curious...

I bought a pair of IDQv2 15s from a flea market for $100 brand new. I said to myself omg idq's and the guy in electronics said "naw man those are the low level ones, see how thin the "bands" are, they arent that great." I talked him down from $180 to $100 cash LOL. Had my **** slammin for a while and then sold them for $350.

Trying to buy a dirt bike, I`ve sent a few messages out on bikes that don`t have a price listed. I ask them politely how much they are asking for the bike, this is the kind of response I get.

make your best offer and if i dont get back to you its to lowbut dont make an offer unless you you have the money in your wallet and are ready to pick it up now

local best buy in redwood city cal.when ever i would come buy the shop area to get a small part or something the installers would look at my system like they had never seen a stereo system before ,or at lease not a real one .considering all they install is crap.

I go to shops from time to time, just to see whats cooking. Say I am looking for RCAs or more speakers wire. They flip out when I tel them the 8awg wire is for my subs and the 12awg wire is for my speakers. Then at that point I stated that I have 5 runs of 1/0awg welding cable in my car with 4 batts. Then they get all crazy and start asking to see it and hear it. And after they hear it and see it, they claim that they have nothing to offer me and shoo me away.

I failed to mention many other things they try to sell me. MANY can not phantom how or why you would need so much power or power wires. Usually they ask if I need an amp kit when ever I go in and ask for ring terminals. So yea, I do have to "brag" about what I have so that they have an idea that I am not just another sucker they can scam on. Often they get upset that I turn down their top quality RCAs which are typically way over priced if it good, or extremely under shielded and poorly made.

I remember a few years back a dumb kid I know snagged up a sub I told him I was going to buy before I could meet the kid to buy it (15 Soundstream something). He didn't think he did anything wrong and it was fair game. The next day he said he needed a 4k amp to push the sub because his amp wasn't even close to pushing it. I remembered one of my other buddies was selling off his stuff because he was moving to florida for college and needed quick cash. One of the things he was selling was a huge 4k Lanzar Vibe amp for $50. I told the original kid that I found a 4k amp for him and went into detail about the model number and stuff for him to look it up on his own (but I knew he would be to lazy to) so he asked if I could grab it for him without even finding out how much my buddy wanted it for. I ended up turning it around and selling it to him for $200 and getting my justice for what he did and he was as happy as could be that POS amp.

Sold a guy a jbl 60.4 and a 300.1 for like 125 bucks, a fair price. I explained how much they cost new and exactly wattage they produced. The next day it was on CL for 750 bucks and he was saying that one amp was 1200 watts and the other was 600 watts or something ridiculous. My son sent him several emails calling him a liar and stuff. I dont remember what happened after that but it involved Taco Bell.
