Who is sponsoring in the summer?

Too many folks out there take the free stuff and turn around to sell it... Most companies will only allow competitor discounts these days if anything. I used to get team DD discounts on DD subs (which just about anyone can get), and I worked with US Amps for long enough that they gave me a few free amps. But what do I know... I have been out of competition for a few years now.

I've been sponsored by Kicker and Soundstream, everything but travel expenses. I'm not talking a competitor discount, I'm talking "free". Every show I did, I sent them the results and the link where they could verify the results.They asked me to commit to a certain number of shows and I trippled the number of shows. I did every show from Maine to Maryland in every state inbetween. I even gave Kicker a National Championship.

I sent them a nice cover letter and competition "resume" and told them what I could do for them.

hmmmmmmmm I want to run my FI BTL's though. Would they be cool if I just ran their amps and highs?

Sponsorships even just joining a team isnt easy because they want guys who are serious and proven competitors. You also need to of went to finals and showed you can hang with the big guys even if your not in the top 3.

You also need to show you know what your doing and how your going to be good for that company and rep them.

No you dont have to run all of thier stuff, most are happy you using thier amps or thier subs.

No, I am saying I plan on starting my rep up. I wouldn't mind going full year round. Next semester I plan on taking off from school anyway, so I want to get down as long as they will let me.

Good luck, sponsorships are more of a hassle in the end.

I never had a problem. I would blow a Solo X "spare" and Kicker would air mail as many as I needed the next day but again, those were the good old days.
