Smoke residue leaves a tar like substance that yes, can affect delicate electronics. I dont think that smoking in your car with the windows up will realistically cause much/any untimely failures however. It will make your car smell like shit though.

idk y but i cant be riding in my blazer with the windows up.... the only way they are up i during rains but i got rain gaurds on my windows so

i still have them down a bit
