Who here is/was a Boyscout?

I am also an Eagle Scout, and probably one of the few with a Record... but that came after I achieved the Rank of Eagle Scout...

I am also in the OA although I didnt look to succeed in the OA.

Many people think the Scouts is gay, but they dont realize the disciplines that it teaches young men. It sounds stupid but I can expect to survive any situation, while most people expect to die.

I was in boyscouts.....reached a certain "rank", but for the life of me can't think of what it's called. I never liked boyscouts...just a bunch of boring crap that I didn't care much about. I'm not much of a wilderness/outdoorsy type person, which is probably why I didn't enjoy it much.

i went to like 2, maybe 3 meetings before i stopped going. which kinda sucks because i ended up doing alot of the same stuff anyway so i could have moved up the rankings. just last summer me and my dad took a group of boyscouts canoeing. Easiest job ever because they had to learn how to do it so the had to load and unload all the canoes and clean everything all i had to do was fish and show them where to go.

I was in scouts for about 13 years, i got my Eagle, as well as i was in th OA (didnt find out the people that ran it were a bunch of idiot's untill later, so I made it to the "middle rank" in there) i worked at my councils summer camp for 3 years(lots of fun and learend lots about how the council really works, and the aniamosity that can be held after 2 councils merge) i went to the national jaboree when i was 16( that rocked except for my nazi scout masters) i ended up having to withdrawl from troop activity when i turned 18 because my boss would always schedual me for monday nights, that was the night of our meetings. it sucked cause he was an eagle as well... owell someday i wanna get back into it, and be a ASM or something like that

yea im in that not gay 1% hehe. anyways for the OA, my scoutmaster doesnt belive in it becuase he as well as many others in my yroop that no scout should stand out from the others in the troop if you get my drift. We are one as a unit kinda mentality.

No but i ate a browny once.......but seriously, i was when i was little, i was like in some wolf or bear handbook, my dad was the leader so i flew up the rankings, then quit, cause i thought it was stupid.

highest i went to was a Life scout, i had order of the arrow as well, klondike etc. the list goes on. I left because of the major problems my troop had. That and i was teh only chinese guy in teh troop, lol.

my dads an eagle scout. I've never really talked to him about it, never really interested me. grats to u guys that have em though

i used to be a scout. most of the stuff i enjoyed doing when there was no pressure. i enjoy camping, no need for a reward program to be involved in it. i love fishing, hunting, etc... i was born for the outdoors and after quiting the scouts i still went on some trips with them because my friends father was the troop-leader. and my friend recieved eagle last summer. i was proud to be invited and attend his ceremony. you will make friends forever in the scouts. i still don't see why most people dismiss the scouts as gay.

Yea I'm a boy scout too but are troop is currupt we throw moltove cocktails at bridges light cabins on fire and burn anything we can.... Ice tea mix can cause a nice flash of fire. They also smoke weed n drink on mostly every trip. We try n be older roll models to other troops
