Who here has a job in car audio?

I have seen PLENTY of vehicles that are from repo's or that are new to a used car dealer and the wiring is just ATROCIOUS!!!
I can't imagine installing a remote start or alarm in one of those...just looks like spaghettie!
The factory wiring harness is always cut, a lot of the time I have to wire it by tapping the fuse box, and running new speaker wires all thru the car. I don't have to install alarms I just have to clean the spaghetti up and put the car back together. I refuse to work on them until they have been cleaned up, if not I charge a ton to cover the mask and rubber gloves //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i was an installer, i worked a ton of hours. was always home late. to tired to go out. was under a dash all day. so i stopped. moved. now im working as a lifeguard/fitness trainer, having fun and got a sweet girlfriend out of it.

i install for my own car. and or good friends. or for Don. lol.

I cant speak there... My buddy's cav is gay, and so because its still his mom's car until she gets a new one, he didnt wanna drill a hole in the firewall... So I told him to run it himself and call me back outside when its done. He ran it between the fender and the a-pillar. We tucked it under the trim to the trunk, but you see a 4awg blue wire every time you open the door... its temp though.
