Who here drives with both feet?

some people just never get it
i'm one of those people who ALWAYS drives, i hate being the passenger in most of my friends cars.

crazy as it seems, the only friend i ever had that i could tell was an actual GOOD driver was a girl

a lot of people just don't 'get' driving, tho, and you can tell as soon as you get in the car
True dat. theres a couple people i hate being driven around by... motivates me to fix my car faster. a couple ppl i know REALLY dont get driving. One dude (he has rich *** parents) has gone through 6 vehicles this semester... thats crazy

i knew a kid who drove a new jeep Cherokee into the ocean... cuz he wanted a new Lexus..

he got the new Lexus //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

brakes are biased 80/20 to the front, you're effectively just decreasing your throttle
and unless you have an lsd, you're breaking traction on ONE tire

you'd be better served to use the manual gear select to keep it in a high gear, and save your brakes, tires, and transmission

or best yet, quit driving mom's accord like an ******* so you can live a few more years and figure out why that sort of driving is best kept to the track once one of your other friends ****s up, and you can find out 2nd hand rather than 1st
wow... this comes across kinda hostile //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

you're correct, the brakes are biased towards the front and yes, in effect i am reducing the throttle... however, keep in mind that using the brakes actively reduces the wheel speed rather than just backing out of the throttle and waiting for friction to do its thing. this helps me stay in control if the front starts to get a lil squirrelly...

i usually use 2nd gear (i'd give 3rd a shot if i could, but 3rd on my auto is just like D4, except it stops shifting at 3rd rather than 4th)

and... its my accord //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

it aint a good vehicle for drifting, but its what i own, so... maybe when i've got some disposable money i'll get an R33 or something off a friend's brother who imports cars, but for the time being, i'll stick with it.
