Who here drives an Accent?

Well, with gas being the way it is, I'm really thinking about ditching my truck with a hemi. I can grab a Accent 3-door hatchback for pretty cheap new, using my truck as a down payment.

So who here has one, and what do you think about it? Any major problems?

Just buy an older civic. Anything with less than 150,000 miles will probably last longer than the Accent anyway

I'm getting a gas saver too. I'm getting a Subaru WRX which gets decent gas mileage and you're not sacrificing performance. If you are into cars, which it sounds like you are since you have a hemi, you may want something else.

Just keep out of the boost when possible. My STi eats gas @ full throttle. Plus you can't put anything less than 91 octane in a WRX or Sti.

Yup lol. I baby my cars and only really run them hard at the tracks so I should still get decent mileage.

And the 91 octane thing doesn't really bother me. I think of it through a different perspective. In a week or two 87 octane will cost what 91 octane used to be so you're basically just ahead of the country by a week or two on gas prices.

If gas stayed at the same price all the time then it would have a bigger impact.
