Beers, real beer. What do ya like? IPAs? Belgians? Ales? Porters? Belgian Strong Ales? Blondes? Scotch Ales? Hefes?

I've been going through the Stone line-up lately and haven't been disappointed, and have thoroughly enjoyed the few Ale Smith brews I've had. We've also got a quickly expanding local brewery in my town, Black Market brewery, that makes the best **** Hefeweizen I've ever had.

i'm an IPA or a Belgian type guy most days. sometimes a good ale or porter. depends on the day. Great Divide out of denver is my 'go-to' brewery when i can't find something i like.

san diego has a huge selection of breweries tho....i kno we are now at 38 or 39

I have been homebrewing for a couple years. I like variety, most all of the mentioned styles from time to time. If I had to pick a fav I guess it'd be American pale ales, (think Sierra Nevada), but I've made beers a lot better than standard Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I also enjoy a big IPA, but most aren't very sessionable. Sweetwater makes an awesome IPA, don't know if you can get em out west though. I've had several of Stones beers and they are all good beer.

yes, i do believe so.... theres always 30ish ppl who stop by every day/nite and buy from him... the old guy couple houses down called police saying he was doin internet ************ or selling drugs.... lmfao

Also, I've heard of Great Divide, haven't been able to get my hands on it yet. My restaurant carries their Hercules Double IPA.

I was spending probably $40 a week on brews when the corner store wasn't carding me. They've got a great micro selection, and I was just picking up a new bomber to try every night after week... Alas, those beautiful days are gone, and I've got 4 more months until I can destroy my body legally>.

San Diego has a ton of great local breweries. Stone, Ale Smith, Port Brewing, Ballast Point off the top of my head.
