I dont want to get a lawyer involved until I go to COC tomorrow. I just made this post tonight to find out some possibilities.

Judging by how you WEREN'T arrested, everything will be fine. Just make sure to take the class and go to court well dressed and properly mannered. Expect to spend a grand or two. Court sucks!

You will more than likely get a RESTRICTED license if you request it, which will only allow for school and work driving. The judge should be lienient providing you aren't a punk *** kid who has no respect for the law.

Why would it cost the fee's, I like the rest of your response, but If I don't get a lawyer I can't imagine public court fees being upwards of 100.00

ok i got caught driving on a suspended license, but before my court date i payed all my fines to get my license back and on my day at court the charges were changed to not having a valid license on me. which ment way less fines and no points on my record. so maybe if u get the classes in before ur new court date for this ticket the judge will do u a solid as well.

take the class..it will look really good on you in front of the judge when you go to court....talk to the prosecutor either before hand or at the court...he will be the one telling the judge that you took the classes and offers a lesser sentence if there is one available for your case. if no class then you'll get the max offense...which may be upwards of a couple hundred dollars and possible community service time...but with the class, the fine will be possibly less and little to no community service.....but then again, it all depends on the judge and what mood he is in.

if you can't finish your class before your court date plead not guilty to buy you more time, you will be issued a later court date 6 months later. atleast that's how it's done here in louisiana.

as far as i remember 12 points in 12 months is a thirty day suspension, not 8 points. you must have missed paying a ticket or something. call the DMV in the morning and give them lic. number and find out exactly why it's suspended. do what ever you can to get it straightened out before court and get it reinstated and the judge usually will go light on you. i am speaking from experience too
