I just got done working out and was curious to hear some of yalls workout regimens...Post body size too so we can compare!
5'8" 172 pounds 17 years old
Been working out on and off for 3 years..
I have A-days and B-days... I alternate each day..
On A -days I strength train.
That consists of
Bench Press- 135 pounds x16 (warm-up)
195 pounds x 14
And then 3 more sets usually increasing around 20 pounds a
set.Lately I have been stopping at 275x2.. My max is right at 300..
Leg Extension- 150 pounds x 10 3 sets
Pullovers w/ curl bar- 90 pounds x 10 3 sets
Lat Pulls - 120 pounds x 10 3 sets
Tricep Extensions with machine bar - 70 pounds x 8-10 3 sets
Tricep Extensions lying on bench w/ dumbells - 25 pound dumbbells x 10 3 sets
One-armed barbell curls - 40 pound dumbbells x 8-10 3 sets
Flys lying on bench with dumbbells -- 25 pound dumbells x 12 3 sets
This provides me with a pretty good strength training workout.. I am mainly focused on upper body strength.. I usually add 5-10 pounds on most lifts every 2 weeks.. I then try to get back up to the number of reps I was doing previously.. After most workouts I run a mile to cool down..
B-day
Run 1 mile..
3 Sets of Knee Raises (with pull-up bar... Bring knees to chest while keeping straight)
3 sets of Pushups (50-70 a set normally)
3 sets of Sit-ups (25 a set)
Then I do 3 more exercises involving leg raises and sweeps while lieing on the floor. All helping with my legs and abdominal region..
Then I run another mile to cool down..
