Whining noise after installing sub?????

the rcas n power are completely separated, even up to the amp. i'm using the stock nav. headunit. i had two amps in my car before, they were rated for more power, and i never had a problem. i installed my new amp and sub, and theres this whining that increased with rpms.

you obviously used ignition as remote turn on, which is why the amp is staying on after you turn the HU off.

need more info.

make/model of sub amp, pics of install, pics/diagrams of how/where you connected the amp to the stock system. etc.

whine is usually a ground loop. grounding the stock HU to the floor may help.

i dont know what was used for amp turn on, i had the shop install my previous amp, then i installed my new one.

amp is audioque 1200d, sub is fi q 12. i spliced my rcas into the stock amp inputs. i didnt use a loc. just spliced them together. the hu is a stock nav. for a genesis coupe. i dont have any pics at the moment.

when i unplug the rcas, the noise stops. when i plug one rcas in, the noise is present. then when i connect both rcas at the same time, the noise is way more noticable.

and the nosie increases with rpms. im assuming its a bad ground, i dont kno where tho. i can only think of the rcas. thats the only difference between my old system and my new one. i used same grounding points, same power cables, same turn on. only thing different is where i got the signal from

any help is apprecaited

can you further explain how you used the rca's? does your stock radio use the stereos speaker output as the signal wire for the factor amp? if you cut the ends off the rcas and spliced them into the wires, you may be using a high output signal on a low level input on the amp. this may be the issue. also its the only thing that has changed since your last install.
