hi, im new here and need some help,
i just got some new equipement and installed it recently,
i got 2 new amps, both new model sound storms
one is a monoblock force 3600 watt peak and the other is a force 4 channel 1200 watt peak, when hooking up the amps i came across a proble, how to run the remote turn on leads? i asked the professional at the local audio store and he said to jump it from one amp to the other, i did that and got the whine. when trying to figure out the problem, i found out that its not the rcas as they are run down the middle of the car and the power is along the driver side, the remote trun on is run along the rcas through. when the remote is on the amp for the fronts and backs only the whine is gone, when jumping tho its there.
when looking into the problem with a volt meter i found that there is a volt drop of about 1 volt at the amps (11.6 i think) and the voltage at the battery is 12.5 i think. i found that the voltage drop accures at the headunit, 12.5 in 11.5 out? is this correct also?
any help would be greatful
thanks
