i had 5 1/4 kappa comps in my car and i'm thinking on replacing them. No particular reason just wanted to try something else.

my budget is around 200 dollars. they will be powered by a 50 x 2 watt rms xtant. so i wanna stay between 50-80 watts rms.

Here is waht i was looking at:

1. focal 130h polyflex-----------$140 60 watts rms

2. focal 130v2 polyglass--------$229 60 watt rms

3. crystal csc50t---------------$190 65 watt rms

4. cdt cl51 classic--------------$160 80 watt rms

any other suggestions would help. and what would you choose in comparison to infinities. I thought the kappas were great but the tweets were a little on the harsh side. so maybe something a little smoother a pleasing

Consider Boston components, but make sre to listen to them on the display. I hate any kind of noise I can describe as harsh and I really like like them, especially @ the $150 - $200 price point.

I would go with focal 130V2, the 165v2 would be better if you can fit them in your door. You'll get more low end.

Check out the prices at Audio Industry shop in los angeles.

That's where i got mine for $200, ask how much will they sell you the 130V2's, my friend got an 165A for $150.
