Which would you chose for sql, and spl?

2 12' Alpine Type X

2 12' Diamond D9

2 12' Kicker L7

2 12' Memphis Mojo

2 12' MTX 9500

Price is no issue, and i have no amp so lets just say they are being powered with 2000w.

i would take the diamonds, they are monsters...but i havent heard all of your choices...

but the 9500 is a nice sub too

I have 2 of the diamonds.....which is more of an SQL sub and sound amazing

most of the subs you are comparing are SPL subs IE:9500,MOJO,L7 etc

all get very loud,I heard the 9500s and the MOJOs and they sounded like ***

they are an all out assault on your ears if thats your bag get the loud ones

I myself prefer to hear the music as the artist intended,just with more bass LOL

I must have misunderstood what he said then. I thought he said for a SQ setup he would get the type X and SPL the 9500.

Diamonds for SQL and Mojos for SPL if you get more power but they will do ok on 2000

It's more of an SPL sub. I have two of them and imo they sound fine. Yes I have heard better sq subs but some times I think when you guys say that L7s lack SQ you guys exagerate.

I have heard plenty of setups with L7's. My cousin has a tacoma with 6 12" L7's ported through the cab. It is loud as f**K he could shake my truck with my sytem on:crap: . They are Loud thats for sure, but they have little SQ whatsoever.
