I am looking for a new project and am having trouble deciding which one to pick. I have narrowed it down to two choices. First is a 1975 Buick Skylark 2 door hatchback. It is basically the same thing as a Chevy Nova. The second is a 1985 Chevy S10 blazer. I already have a built 327 from a past project that will eventually be installed in which ever one I end up with. They are both really clean with no rust. Both have pros and cons. Which would you choose?

How to convert MTS, M2TS, TS, TP to FCE files?

"I've converted my 1920×1080 AVCHD (mts) files to 1440×1080 and made a sequence in Final Cut Express, when I export to Apple TV and view them in QuickTime, however, the files are not properly stretched on playback. I've tried setting the item properties of the clips and the sequence in Final Cut Express to 'anamorphic' but this didn't result in QuickTime playing them in widescreen."

The above problem is very common when you want to import your MTS file to Final Cut Express for editing. Fortunately, some people have already paid attention to it and contributed their valuable suggestions.

Before revealing the hint, we should first clarify the relationship between AVCHD (mts) and Final Cut Express. Final Cut Express is a non-linear video editing application created by Apple Inc and is designed for advanced editing of digital video as well as high-definition video, there are many versions of Final Cut Express, but not all the versions can support AVCHD (mts), only the recently release Final Cut Express 4 adds support for the AVCHD cameras. But despite Final Cut Express 4 advertising support for AVCHD, there are still limitations: it only support a maximum resolution of 1440×1080, besides your system should be Intel-based.

An easy way to solve this problem is to convert MTS to Final Cut Express supported file formats, like MOV, DV, HDV or MPEG-4.

MTS to Final Cut Express converter for Mac can help you do it, with this versatile software, you can not only convert MTS to Final Cut Express supported file formats smoothly, besides, you can also customized your MTS file like cropping unwanted frame from clips, cut the length of the file, besides you can also merge several files to one file for your convenience.
