Which would you buy

I'm looking for an easy and cost effective way to add subs to my system. I drive a ford ranger with a regular cab so space is limited but i think with a slanted box i might be abot to fit a 10 incher behind each seat.

With that said i found these two packages at http://www.sonicelectronix.com

I don't have much experiance with audio other than what i've read so i was wondering if i could get some oppinions if these are good deals and which one seems to fit my needs better.

The problem with this first one is the box would never fit behind my seats so i would need a new one.

The second one seems nice because the box is slanted so there is a better chance it will fit even though there are no mesurements with it, but the amp is only 1 channel, so i'm not sure how that will affect the power but even if it makes it only 200w per sub that would be more than anough for me. It is a little more pricey but the instalation kit and the slanted box more than makes up for it.

I do not know the quality of these two brands though i have hear a lot about audiobahn. If any one could give me an opinion i would aprechiate it.

I would pass on those...

What's your budget? Around $200? For that price, we could come up with something better, that outperforms those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Add a Profile California series amp to it, and you've got yourself a very respectable little system there...something I'd be proud to own, unlike those Audiobahn setups //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

first thing you need to do is figure out what size box will fit behind the seat . it will be a truck wedge stlye , deeper on the bottom than the top . look at some specifically made for the ranger on ebay and it will give you idea of what you need . go out and measure what works for you , this will give you an idea of how deep of a subwoofer that you can use .

yup yup

you can also make a custom sealed box to get the most out of your small space like afriend of mine did in his 88 ford tuck and managed to fit 2 12's in a single cab. you can also look at subs with shallow mounting depth.

Sorry my ignorance but i'm not very good with the jargon around here what do you mean by RE 8's i know by 8 you mean 8" but i'm not sure what you mean by RE

Ok answered my own question it's a brand got ya (RE Audio) now the question is where can i buy them i can't seem to find anyplace that seems to sell them.

resonant engineering is only sold on their site , most of your upper end components are sold this way , they are high quality , small companies and not over massed produced . alot of times you will see items even temporary sold out .
