which would get louder?

what kind of vehicle, and are you sure you can run 6000watts. DD recomends 4.25 per 9515 so thats a little small and tune a little higher to make everyone happy.

 
well 2 9515's getting 3kw per sub in the proper sized enclosure in a trunk car should get off. or is the box gonna be too big to let any bass through to the cabin? its a 2003 taurus, if not i can get a 89 blazer real cheap to put it in and then not have to worry about box size.

i have a 2001 taurus and the bass gets to the cabin pretty good, not as great as it did with my 93 grand am did though.

but if the install was perfect i'd say the tc would get just as loud as the dd, but probly sound uber amazing. my 18 5200 was like ear sex off 4kw...

 
ok my idmax is tuned to 35 but i find myself dropping below tuning alot. just want to tune for the best overall bottom end maintain a much spl as possible. 35-40 i guess then. well i dont think SQ matters when your pushing 6kw to 2 15's. with all that metal flexxing it defeats the SQ aspect of it.

 
yes it is thats where my idmax gets really loud around tuning. so i guess just tune to 35 and do the rest with the SSF

 
dd, always a good idea if u have the money

but feed it right, and give it about 500 rms more than it needs (if not more)

ok so im gonna go with 2 9515's 4.5 cubes per sub tuned to 32 hz. this is what the guys over at the dd forum reccommend for hitting the lows.

My subs unload at full tilt @ 28 hz, They are in 3.69 cubes net tuned to 34 hz. 4 - 8's. Big box and big power.
