I Appreciate the info on the subs. But today i found a local dealer in town that a buddy of mine worked at. The shop sales RE products.. from subs to components.1 sx at 3.5 ft^3 tuned at 35hz will be louder than 2 two 15 se sealed @ 4 cubesaccording to winisd
but only louder between about 25- 50 hz the 2 sealed is louder every where else
i would use this as a guidline not a rule winisd

But today i found a local dealer in town that a buddy of mine worked at. The shop sales RE products.. from subs to components. The shops name is something like CUSTOM CAR AUDIO. They were real busy at the time i arrived so my buddy "Dave" tells me to come back later and we"ll see which set up would give me the most output. I came back around 8:00pm and shit still busy... i was watching people walking out left and right with sx's and xxx freshly bought. The shop only marks the subs up 23%from the RE site.. not to bad.
well after waiting for another hour my buddy and the owner stayed after hours testing out what subs i should purchase. the setups were...
2se 15 2.25each sealed = 146.xx
1sx 15 3.9@32hz ported = 143.xx
2se 12 1.8@32hz each ported = 141.xx
all on new TL.
all in the back of my integra. wow this was some great customer service!!!
well the 2 15's sealed sounded outstanding in both sq and spl. I could hardly sit in my car when they were burping!!!
the 1sx ported blew my mind as well for being just a 1sub setup.
the 2 12se was were loud but not like the 15s, they also lacked the sq of the sealed 15s.
all in all i walked out with 2 15se in a custom sealed enclosure for 675$$$ thanks fellas for all the help and sorry for not buying the famous crossfire sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wacky.gif.cf4a48f9e6dfe9504ffd2c946fd2f340.gif but i got the great amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would phone RE and tell them how happy you are with them.
stock 90amp alt... poor little sucker.kobe, you have an aftermarket alt?
all was done in my car running 1100watts@1ohm 4 guage wires , stock alt and battery. the subs were the displays that were already in the enclosures. some of the enclosures didnt fit right away untill we folded down the seats. but the test was on the new TL. with the doors closed windows up. Ill try to find the print outs of the spl levels if i didnt throw them away already.and that was done with the alt? or a (massive) power supply at the shop?

I know, it blew my mind. the shop owner "Chris" and my buddy Dave are really good friends. while they were setting up i went to the local Shell and bought a case off beers to help pass time. we finished around 11:30 and all had good laughs along with a great buzz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gifThats amazing.
