which rcas?

i have two rcas from my HU to my back, one for my 2ch amp, and one for my sub amp. rca 1 is louder on the sub amp than rca 2. But, rca 2 doesent put out any sound on the 2ch amp. Rca1 does put out sound on the 2ch amp, but its very bassy. Any ideas?

figure some things out. basically, my sub sounds louder on the headunit rca output of 2ch instead of the sub output. Is that normal?

Sounds like you've got your sub outputs running into your highs amp and vise versa....also check the decks internal x-over settings and that of your sub amp cause if the x-over on the sub amp is set lower than that of the high pass output you've got going into it that would explain the lack of sound in that set of rca's that are already hooked to the wrong amp.......

well basically if i use the rear rca instead of sub rca from the hu its way louder.

i checked the settings on my HU. its set at 80hz, with 0 (you can go + or - to 7, should i set this higher?) and there is no high pass on.
