Cool...Thanks for the help bonnie. One last question...if you don't mind. SX requires 4 cube @ 34 hz. 1000 wrms and 2000 peak. I'm feeding it 2500 watts right now. Should I make the box smaller to help w/ controlling the power?? Or will it even matter?

the bigger the box, the less power it can handle before reaching its thermal/mechanical limits. that should help you out

Wow!!! Size matters...Don't tell my GF:wow: So..I should be safe going between 3-3.5 cubes. Just keep the tuning the same. I really don't want to screw up the sub.

well i would run it to specs. 4 cubes @ 34 hz and then i would set your gains so your only running 1800 watts to it. i think you should be safe there.

the benefits to it

*your subs is in its ideal enclosure and tuning

*your giving it enough power to really get it moving, but not more then it can handle

*your amp will run cooler since it will not be pushed to its limits

i think that would be the way to go
