which pair of 15's?

i currently have a jeep grand cherokee with the big 3 with a optima battery under the hood and a red top optima in the hatch area. I currently have a US AMPS mD3D. It gives 2000 watts rms at 1 ohm. Given a 6.2 cu ft. ported box after all dispacements, would a pair of 15" Kicker L7's be a better choice over a pair of 15" Alpine Type R's? I mostly listen to rap and want the better overall sub of the two. Which would be louder?

L7's way louder ,alpines will still be very loud but sound alil better in a wider range of music.but in the range of the 7's,hold on to your hat,that will bang very hard.oh and if 6.2cube is all you got then just get 1 L7 and go with the enclosure in the manual.its like 6 cubes with 50in of port.I think that might save you money and be just as loud as 2 in boxes half that size.just my thought.
