it depends on what you're looking for. how much space you have, how much money you have. if you want pure spl with not much sq; the L7s are fine. Fi makes great subs, but there are many selections and options that you can get so I couldn't begin to suggest a model of those to you until it is know what type of sound you are trying to accomplish

well i can build a box with just over 4 cubes of space. Ive been lookin and i think if i go with Fi im ganna get 2 10' SSD subs with the copper coil. How do you think they compare with the l7s
the SSDs are a sq sub. that means they will sound better than the L7s but the L7s will get louder. even with the copper coil. I would say the BLs would be comprable to the L7s but with better sq. overall I like Fi better than kicker. i have used the L7s which were twelves. i have used Fi Q and BTL series. if you get the Fi you can put them in a box that's about 1 or 1.5 cu ft and tune to about 32Hz. you should be set then!

alright thanks. so you think the ssd's would end up bein pretty loud or not?

the ssd's can definantly get loud with the correct box and giving them a decent power supply
