Which one first.

Looking to upgrade power to 1200-1500 watts as soon as possible. Stock alt is 60 or 80 amps.Big 3 is done. Should I buy an extra battery or upgrade the alt first? (if I were to do one at a time)

I would do another battery first for that power and see how it does since its the least expensive, and then if your getting major voltage drops after the battery is added then I would look into a ho alt.

try the battery and go from there. i find with a nice mono amp that does not draw alot of power u can get away with a nice battery . good luck

better battery before alt imo. Need the battery power for the upgraded alt to keep them charged.

An alt with just a stock battery will help. But Id do a 2nd battery before the alt.

ive been searching this too...so are you guys saying that a stock alt will keep both the front and the rear batteries sufficiently charged?

that was kind of in my line of thinking. Would it put additional strain on my stock alt trying to keep 2 batteries charged?
