Which of These Two Would You Buy?

If you were to choose between the two.

Rockford Fosgate R1653

or

Pioneer TS-G1643R

I tried posting links but the I got an error lol. I found those Rockfords on SonicElectronix and the Pioneers on Amazon, they can be found with a simple search.

Also if there's any other coaxial 6.5's you would recommend that give decent bass (have to wait a while to get a sub) with a budget of $40 let me know!

In my experience $40 doesn't get you far with coaxials. That said, it seems the Rockford R1653s might have better bass than the Pioneer TS-G1643Rs. Based on the reviews and the 3-way design, the Rockfords are probably also rather bright sounding.

those pioneers are garbage. the G series pioneers have always been terrible. get the RF's.

Thanks, looks like I'm getting rockfords! Also on a side note, I know they are different sizes but are the rockfords probably better than kicker ks680s as well?

RF sound brighter than Kicker's lower-mid range speakers get the RFs, unless you want to lay down some money and get Kicker components
