which of these setups will give higher #'s?

setup 1. 2 punch hx2's in their own 1.5 cubic sealed box powered with 500-750 rms per sub

setup 2. the same subs and power, but in 1.95 cubes sealed per sub.

setup 3. a power hx2 15 in a 4 cubic foot box tuned to 33 Hz. on 1500 watts

the setup is going in an extended cab dakota, i'm trying to get in the neighborhood of 140-145 db's. so what do y'all think?

I'd say the ported would be louder but the other setups you have more than one sub. I think a smaller ported box tuned higher would get you better numbers?

yeah, i was thinking the 3rd one my self, but was not too sure because i have had 2 12's(earthquake dbx's with 500 to each) in a tiny box beat out a memphis lvs 15 with 1000 watts to it in a ported box with 3.5 cubes tuned to 32. that's why i'm still kinda hesitant on the 15.

also, do y'all think that 32 Hz is too low, high, or what?

You want changable ports on your 4 cube box for 15, low 30 tune for street beat and high 40's for SPL burps comps. search for examples of changable ports plenty of people have them.
