so i am going brazilian ‘ looking into the new Taramps MD-8k ‘ Banda Viking 8k ‘ or the SoundIgital 8k

which amp is better be running at 1 ohm as a daily beater ‘ thanks

Get the bass if you do Taramps.

If you do sounddigital do the power series

Banda is good but the bass and power are a step up

oh okay thanks i just want the amp that will be able to play 17-50 hz i have a 6th order tune 20 hz and 45 i do daily on my 2 sundown X-15s V2 i will be charging at 15.3

which one would you really pick from those 3 ?

i have a 5k sundown but i am having issues with it my subs love it and want more ‘ voltage stays solid 14s so i know i am good i just want to try different amps korean are good though

I personally would do the Taramps MD8k.

IT's not available yet but I am tech advisor and distributor for Taramps.

If you buy here, we can at least help you and cover you under warranty if necessary.

If you go outside Taramps, i do not know/think there is anyone on this forum that can help you with warranty coverage and if there is, it'll be new to me/us here.

We also manufacture the triple inputs for the MD8000 as well if you need those.

Taramp's and Soundigital are the only 2 brazilian brands interested in moving themselves up as best as possible.

Taramps, SD and Stetsom all OEM for other brands now but Stetsom stays silent a lot which doesnt help the public in doing research.

Taramp's Bass and MD series are currently being recommended best options for subwoofers and HD afterwards only if there is no model available under the previous 2 choices.

with the cost to go from a 8k to the 12k being so little it just makes sense to get the 12k.

and if youre running at 2 ohm even more reason. then you can go to 1 ohm with the Zv5's (or get ns's)

I will tell you 1 secret about the SPL 40k-

The prototype produced 30,000 VA rising to 0.98ohm at 9.9vDC. Hellacious beast.

until you actually touch em, flimsy plastic heatsink. At least taramps is semi flimsy aluminium heatsink.

No, run them at the lowest impedance you can and just set the gains lower, only use as much as you need to get the most out of your subs. Dont run sh*t at a higher ohm load, that normally leads to clipping, because you wont be satisfied with the output. Box rise is a b*tch.

12k evo is rated at 12k at 12.6 volts

Not sure who would buy power 8k rated at 14.4 for same price.

Thd is good on both amps but .09 evo .015 power

1250 amps fuse rating on evo and think 800 on power 8k

The Mosconi Zeros are higher than that. Not sure how it really affects performance after a certain point.

For the Zero 1 this is what the spec sheet says:

Damping factor @ 100 Hz - 10 Watt ref (Right / Left): 6351 / 6354

Damping factor @ 1 KHz - 10 Watt ref (Right / Left): 6368 / 6365

Damping factor @ 10 KHz - 10 Watt ref (Right / Left): 424 / 424
