which idea will be most efficient for cooling?

im making an amp rack and am doin this cuz i need better ventilation and hoping this will prevent my amps from cuttin off so quickly do to the hot weather in south florida. ok i have came uP with two ideas for placement of fans. so i would like yalls help in figuring which would be the most efficient for cooling.

idea# 1- not sure if im gona do the push -pull or just push method. also, should i leave a gap on the top side and bottom side of amp like in the picture or eliminate the gap and just make it wide enough for the amp?

idea# 2 - it will be like this the opposite end as well.

Maybe different drawings of the setups? (google sketchup would make things cleaner)...I cant really tell whats going on there

x 2 the amps look really small and the fan looks huge
