I'm comparing three options for replacing my head unit. I'm really only just starting to learn about car audio, so I'd like some outside opinions. I'm not completely retarded, though. I know a little bit about audio applications to live/concert sound. I'm only just getting into the car audio aspect of things.
Anyway, here are the three I'm looking at (all Premier)
DEH-P800PRS
DEH-P880PRS ^ what's the difference? and why is this one cheaper?

If it makes any difference, I listen to mostly classic metal and power metal. If I'm in the mood I like old school rap. I want more clarity and quality sound than just loudness. Care more about what it sounds like inside the truck than outside.
P. S. I'm not lazy. I'm researching some on my own. Just want some experienced opinions as well.
