Which H/U for iPod?

I am about to get a deal on a 96 Mustang Cobra, and I already know that I will be replacing the head unit. I have a 30 gig iPod, so I would like it to have the USB, and also the AUX in. I have a Kenwood KDC-MP435U in my current vehicle. I thought about getting the updated model, I think it is the 438. However, when hooked up with USB it only randomly plays the songs on my iPod, I cannot select playlists, genres, etc. If that was a possibility, I may not need the aux in. Any suggestions for under $200? Thanks.

theres a series of alpine decks made just for ipod. have you tried checked that?

Most of the newer end pioneer HU's have Ipod and USB capablities. I would recommend the 6900ub or the p690ub

i got a Alpine 9852 for sale has the I-pod connect in the back you just need the cable and your good to go im looking for 250 shipped lmk if your interested i can get pictuers when i get home

I have a decent lower end Kenwood that does well with the iPod, think it's a KDC 532u. Picked up a cable on Ebay for $20 and it works great. Almost every newer headunit should have some sort of iPod hook up.
