Those specs are the same between the two.

Just depends on whether you need the extra tuning options of the 7band equalizer from the 9887 or the more basic 2band equalizer found in the 9886

i tihnk the 86 has the usb option so if u want usb then thats the one to go with

a usb is nice instead of having to burn new cd's all the time

just get the 9887, so you won't hate yourself for buying the cheaper one. All alpine hu are good anyway. Like i said, the more preouts and higher voltage is the only important thing. Personally, i would pay for the 9887

i hope you wear your seatbelt man. Wrecking a corvette would hurt. But it is a nice *** car though.
