or if you have the money, get a lvl 5.

and if you feel like waiting, save up for the lvl 6.

my friend has a 15" xl but thats all he has right now so i havent heard it.

Had a LVL 4 18, it was sex...in this case, that gets my vote based on experience, though the XL 15 might be louder due to the power handling.

Guy on SMD switched from a LVL 4 15" to a XL 15" with the same power (Rockford 1000D) and it was noticable louder with the XL. Just some food for though..

the xl has a bigger motor but same soft parts as the lvl 5. with the lvl four with 5 coils your just getting the lvl 5 coils with the motor of the lvl 4

the xls will be louder. but if your on a budget, a level 4 with 5 coils is a good choice too.
