Which Components?

Which components would you guys suggest? I would like to spend up to $600 or so for a good set of components. Which ones have great sound quality with the maximum amount of clean midbass? Everyone keeps ravng about Dynaudio or CDT? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
