Which coax's to match the PHOENIX GOLD RSd 65cs

I cannot find the correct 6.5 coax's, does anyone have any suggestions.

BTW I plan on installing these in a 98 Dodge Durango.

Both the comps and coax's will be unamped:crying: running off a Pioneer DEHP2900MP. I am trying to setup a budget system as I doubt I will have the Durango more then two years.

Am I better off buying from an authorized online dealer as apposed to ebay?

Thanks in advance.

Mods great site, it has been very helpful the last couple months.

Don't settle for HU power on those RSd's. Instead of rear coaxs, put that money towards a decent budget amp, like the Profile AP1000 or AP1200 2 channels. www.millionbuy.com
Very nice prices.

I hear yah DJ and I will probably add a amp and sub later on. I know from your posts you hate rear stage but it's a big SUV and I have 3 teenage kids that ride in the back. Besides the rears will not cost that much.

If you had to match the fronts which PG's would you use?

DJ I have also seen you recommend authorized dealers before, is that the way to go?

I'll recommend some Pioneer REV's. They do great off HU power.
Perfect. I will research that.

BTW My Durango has a built in amp down in the kick panel, which makes a small 2 channel amp that will fit in there. I assume I can use the same sub wiring. I will try and check and see on the Durango forum.

Um.. the pg makes a rsd coax...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Yeah, I had thought about that, TCar. Do you think they'd do well and have the midbass authority of the REVs off HU power? I wasn't so sure about that, so I didn't recommend them.

DJ's advice was better. Use the stupid stock crap for rears, your kids won't notice and buy an amp for the fronts. It is a WAY better use of your money. Your truck will sound so much better with a little power. The route you are going is a waste.

The revs are nice, not quite as nice as the sd's, but a good speaker. The pgs are better all around.

Like mentioned above though, you could just use the factory speakers.

No can do. I blew one of them.

Remember it's her truck. I will probably hook up the 4 speaks to the HU and go from there. I might have to bite the bullet and buy an amp.

Hope it sounds good off HU power man.

If you feel you need an amp for those front comps, don't be afraid to feed them 100-150wrms per side. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

In all honesty, you should have just bought the coaxes. It is a complete waste running deck power to components. o well...
Agreed. But hey, for an investment of around $150-200, the OP can get a decent Profile amp, a wiring kit, and some basic deadening for the mids and have a screamin' sweet front stage.
