which capacitor to buy???

I just purchased a 400 watt audiobahn A4002T amp along with a 550 watt auidobahn AW121T sub (the only two 400 watt audiobahn subs they had were torn or blown). I have a 4 cyl nissan frontier so the battery is gettin the life sucked outta it from the system. I looked at ebay and there are numerous 1 farad audiobahn capacitors...each one is different though. http://search.ebay.com/audiobahn-capacitor_W0QQfkrZ1QQfromZR8

any ideas on which one to go with??? i miss my bass so i wanna buy pretty quick.

None. you don't need a cap. if your current starts to drop, do the big 3.

Then how is the battery going to give power to the Cap to store?

than its obvious that you have larger problems other than what capacitor to buy.

sounds like your battery is a piece, or your alt.

when i jump the truck and the system is hooked up i checked the voltage on the battery and its a full 12 volts so the capacitor will store power while its running right???

well when the car is on the lowest you should get is about 13.2 volts... if your getting 12v when the car is on you definitely need to do the big three to upgrade your current flow.

it wont start when the system is hooked up? do you have the remote wires hooked up correctly to the deck and not to constant 12v? grounds ok?

mmmm....ill have to check it out. i got it installed at circuit city so i didnt bother checking connections to the deck

do the amps stay on even though the car is off? if they arent on all the time id say it was your alt no way it shouldnt keep up at least somewhat

Not if you wired the remote lead to the head unit's remote wire...

i know but for the vehicle to not start....there is either a bad chasis ground on the vehicle or there is a drain
