Which Blu-Ray player?

I am looking at a few models from Best Buy, instant gratification and also someone to ***** at if it dies, lol. So, here are the ones I am looking at:

Toshiba BDX2000

Insignia NS-BRDVD3

Sony BDP-S360

Insignia NS-BDLIVE01

Samsung BDP-1600

My brother has a BDP-1600 and it seems nice, but the reviews aren't the best for it so I was looking around to see if anything would be better.

The models getting the best reviews (for picture, and ease of use) in home theater magazines and websites seem to be Panasonic as far as I've seen.

Dont know if Best Buy carries them, but they should.

They have one Panny modle that is more than I want to spend. I think I may just get the Samsung, although all the ones I listed look to be good.

what features do you want out of your player? I have the 1600 and gave one to my mother in law and I have had to swap out both. I was going to go to the Panny or Sony but neither one can do wireless and/or pandora. I went back with the 1600 and it seems to be fine now.

Plays Blu-Ray discs basically, that's pretty much my requirement, lol.

Don't need one, have a 360 and don't play it enough and the PS3 doesn't add another $150 of value for me.

if that's all you want than get the Panisonic BD 60. if you want Pandora or Netflix go with the Samsung 1600.

for just playing blu-rays the sony is pretty good, that's about it.

I think the Samsung and the Panasonic DMP-BD60 are the 2 that I am looking at the most. My brother has the Samsung and it has worked great for him, but a lot of people seem to love the Panasonic. I will go to Best Buy tomorrow and look at them.

last year I did work for Sony HT and this year I did work for Panasonic HT. I was way more impressed with Panasonic's thoughts and views of other products. either way you wont go wrong with either choice just keep your receipt close by if you get the Samsung.

get a ps3 best of both worlds. i do have to say the ps3 games cost alot of money. i went and got 3 games today and spent 187.00 or so
