Wanna race??? I'll pick the track...road course...of course. Riding like a fool on the streets is just plain stupid:rolleyes:

Oh Yeah...178mph...sorry..you must be believing your speedo...which is wayyyyyy off after 100 mph.

How does extending the rear wheel affect the bike (in terms of performance, ridability, etc.)? Is it considered a bad idea to do? Any ideas on cost?

Extending the rear swingarm on a bike only increases the bikes straight line speed and hurts the actual cornering of the bike. Great if you are going to drag race. Other than that...pointless.

I don't get the whole "I want to get a bike because the MPG's is killing the wallet." I mean, I wanted to get a bike, which I would have to finance, then put gas in that and in my car as you can't ride a bike all the time, so really not saving much in gas, especially in Ohio as weather changes too much. So need my car all winter. I do see you are in Florida, but it does rain quite a bit down there.

I guess I just don't get it.

If I get a bike, honestly anymore, would be just because I would want one. Not to save anywhere, because I wouldn't be. I would be in further debt with a bike.

I have been debating a new car for a while (trading in my truck towards it) but I figured if I got a bike for fun I could get the best of both worlds.

What tailights do you wanna be looking at, Kawasaki or Suzuki?
